The Full Stack Backend Developer is a newly created role that is key in helping the team succeed and enable the company to grow and develop. You will be joining a highly motivated team that is passionate about what they do in a company that is going from strength to strength. Key Responsibilities:

• developing back-end applications based on NodeJS;
• deployment of NodeJS applications to Google Cloud Platform (GCP);
• creating servers and databases for functionality;
• designing and developing APIs in a microservice infrastructure;
• contribute on the development of front-end website based on ReactJS;
• collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features;
• identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs;
• help maintain code quality, organisation, and automatization; and
• implementation of automated tests.

Your Profile

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to support the development and maintenance of applications that support our products, from web to mobile and integration with other systems.

Your primary focus will be the development of new and existing features working both on the NodeJS backend and the ReactJS frontend.

You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.

Essential Skills

• Excellent experience in NodeJS.
• Experience creating and maintaining microservices.
• Firebase database and Firebase Data Store.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript frameworks: ReactJS, VueJ.
• Good knowledge of GCP tools including Cloud Function and Cloud Logging.
• Good knowledge of Terraform.

Desirable skills

• SCSS, Bootstrap framework.
• Apache/Nginx/Linux.
• Object Oriented Programming with PHP.
• MVC PHP Framework (Slim Framework preferrable).
